Data Subscription Agreement

PEPIndex Data Subscription Agreement v1.2.17 · August 2026

By accessing the PEPIndex dataset on Snowflake Marketplace, or the PEPIndex REST API, you agree to the following terms. This page is the canonical, full agreement.

1. License. Subscriber is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to query this free PEPIndex sample dataset for internal business or research use, including evaluation of the full PEPIndex product (REST API subscriptions at https://pepi.apiautomations.com).
2. Attribution. Public outputs that cite the PEPIndex must include the citation: PEPIndex Methodology Whitepaper v1.2.17, K. Sather, 2026.
3. No redistribution. Subscriber may not resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute the underlying dataset. Derived analytical outputs (charts, reports, model inputs) are permitted with attribution.
4. No warranty. PEPI scores and underlying observations are provided “as-is.” The product is intended for research and analytical purposes; it is not investment advice, legal advice, or a regulatory filing.
5. Methodology transparency. What the index measures, the evidence it uses and how it is validated are documented in the methodology overview (v1.2.17). Material methodology changes are versioned and logged on the changelog; the full methodology specification is available to customers and research partners on request.
6. Data lineage. Source attribution is preserved for every observation: citation keys and URLs for research sources, originating-document links on event source and timeline records, and an evidence-source label on every outcome.
7. Refresh cadence. The index and event data refresh several times a day; economic tables refresh daily with their agencies’ releases. Source freshness and endpoint health are published on the status page.
8. Political neutrality. PEPI measures a specific behavioral pattern (threat followed by reversal) and does not make normative judgments about the desirability of any policy.
9. Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflicts-of-laws principles.
